Field of therapyCulturally-sensitive psychiatry and psychotherapy

We break down barriers: We provide help, support, and counseling during emotional crises and for mental health issues. To that end, we offer culturally and linguistically sensitive therapy services that take your personal history into account.

Our services

Mental illnesses can manifest in a variety of ways and may arise suddenly and for no apparent reason in those affected. What all mental illnesses have in common is that they can affect feelings, thoughts, perceptions, and behavior in different ways.

For example, if you feel sad and listless for an extended period of time, experience a loss of joy in life, have physical symptoms for no apparent reason, perceive reality differently than other people, or sometimes feel that life has lost its meaning, a mental illness may be the cause. These symptoms can vary in severity. Often, those affected – and sometimes those around them as well – suffer so much that treatment is necessary.

Additional Questions

At our Clinic, you can use Wi-Fi outside of therapy hours. You will be provided with an access password for this purpose. Wi-Fi is not available at the Day Clinic.

The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of your condition and will be discussed and determined with you on an individual basis.

Our services include a variety of group programs, which are tailored to your needs as part of an individualized treatment plan. In addition, regular one-on-one psychotherapy sessions are also an integral part of our treatment approach.

When necessary, we use professionally trained interpreters. Some of our therapy sessions are conducted in the patient’s own native language. To promote integration and communication, we ensure that the primary language of communication is German.

For the inpatient unit and the day clinic, we require a referral from your outpatient care provider. For the outpatient clinic, however, you will need a referral. We also need your health insurance card. It is also helpful if you bring any existing medication schedules and prior medical reports with you at the time of admission.
